Prof. Chaocan Xiang

Chaocan Xiang, Ph.D., is a Professor and Ph.D. Supervisor at the School of Computer Science, Chongqing University. He is a recipient of the Chongqing Outstanding Youth Fund, Chongqing Academic and Technical Leader, and Bayu Young Scholar. He received his bachelor’s and doctoral degrees from PLA University of Science and Technology, and was a visiting scholar at the University of Michigan‑Ann Arbor. He was promoted to Professor in 2023 through exceptional promotion.

His research interests include artificial intelligence, urban computing, Internet of Things, mobile intelligent sensing and big data. He has presided over national and provincial‑ministerial projects including NSFC programs and key national defense innovation projects. He has published more than 60 papers, among which many are CCF‑A category and SCI Q1 journal articles. He has received multiple awards such as the Third‑Class Prize of Military Science and Technology Progress Award and ACM China Rising Star Award. He serves as Executive Editor of Computer Science, Senior Member of CCF, track chair and program committee member for several international conferences, and actively engages in academic organization work on IoT and pervasive computing.

Assoc. Prof. Xingrong Fan

Chongqing Technology and Business University, China

Xingrong Fan holds a Doctor of Engineering degree and post‑doctoral experience. He is Associate Professor, Master Supervisor and Vice Dean for Teaching at the School of Artificial Intelligence, Chongqing Technology and Business University. He is also Chongqing Excellent Innovation‑Entrepreneurship Mentor. He received his bachelor’s degree from Chongqing University and Ph.D. from the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research covers spectral‑graph pattern recognition, large‑model design and optimization, agricultural artificial intelligence and anomaly detection. He has undertaken more than 20 national and provincial research projects, published over 20 papers, and obtained authorized patents and software copyrights. He leads multiple higher‑education teaching reform projects, serves in academic societies including CAA and Chongqing Computer Society, and acts as national‑level judge for innovation competitions. He regularly supervises students in academic contests and innovation‑entrepreneurship activities.
